“We, Chacha Nehru Bal Mandir Inter College, located at the tehsil headquarters of Aonla, District Bareilly, feel proud to have been continuously contributing to the intellectual, mental, and moral development of local students since 1964. Our institution was established on 27th June 1964 on the sacred land of this historic town by the great education enthusiast, selfless philanthropist, social worker, able administrator, and teacher—late Shri Ram Rakshpal Sharma—who was honored with the President’s Award. He was supported by the respected citizen and physician of the town, late Dr. B. M. Mittal. The school began as ‘Chacha Nehru Bal Mandir’ with just six students.Through your constant efforts, the school steadily crossed the steps of development—receiving recognition as a primary school in 1964, a junior high school in 1971, and a high school in 1974, eventually becoming a full-fledged higher secondary school. In 1980, the government included the school under the Salary Distribution Act, bringing it into the grant-in-aid system. Later, we received recognition for the Intermediate Arts stream in 1992, Commerce stream in 1996, and Science stream in 1998.Today, we have a beautiful, well-equipped, multi-storey building with 64 rooms. Although our founder is no longer with us, we are not only striving continuously to bring his true vision to life but are also committed to it. Today, when we see ourselves standing like a grand banyan tree, we are instantly reminded of all those faces and memories of the people who made an extraordinary contribution to shaping what we are today.”
